After Trumping Esmée, but being unable to make physical contact and bring her out of her Hell, Damien, Tristan and Julian walked the Pattern and, having got a good impression of where she was, had the Pattern send them there. Unfortunately only their spirits were sent through, and this is what they saw just before they 'landed', in the room behind the lighted window.
