Dramatis Personae


PROFESSOR NAPOLEON BARKER

A friend of Noesis, responsible for his life support shell. He is a medical doctor, life support specialist, cyberneticist (to some extent) and inventor.


GEORGE BELL

The man in charge of the Nike photo shoot which Chronos did.


BILLY

A homeless man known to Truth, who disappeared. He was found in the Viper base under the Thames, apparently killed in Viper experiments.


PROFESSOR TIMOTHY BLANK

A geneticist at the University of London to whom Noesis has given samples of John Doe, various alien creatures and a Brood alien.


CHARLES

A technician at Colmar Technology.


ALAN CHESSEX

Head of local news for London at the BBC in Shepherds Bush. Middle aged, average-looking, plump and balding with grey hair.


DAVID CLARENCE

The owner of 'Clarence Boats', a West London boatyard on the Thames from whom the London Knights bought the 'Wilberforce Throckmorton Device The Second'.


TANYA CLAYBOURNE

A journalist with whom John Doe had some dealings.


DR BRIAN CLINTON

Manager of Colmar Technology, and father of the (now dead) wife of Malcolm Forfield (Servo).


BRIAN COOPER

Chronos' agent, responsible for getting him his advertising deal with Nike.


NICK COURTOULD

A STOP sergeant.


DICK

A homeless man known to Truth in her civilian identity who vanished then re-appeared as a fungus person.


DETECTIVE INSPECTOR (D.I.) DICKINSON

A member of STOP. He was in charge of the Viper base raid (see session 2.10).


'VERITY GATES'

Someone with the same scent and appearance as Truth, going by the same name as her real identity, but who seems to be bad.


LIEUTENANTS GOLDSTEIN, EVANS, WILLIAMS, FREEMAN, ROSTOVER AND CORLIONI

Some staff members of Project Safeguard who went up to the station with the party on the space shuttle Explorer.


CHIEF INSPECTOR IAN HEATHERINGTON

A member of STOP, who was responsible for linking STOP with (most of) the London Knights.


MR HEATHERINGTON (NO RELATION)

Manager of the Harrods safety deposit box facility.


HELGA

A semi-transparent woman whom the group met in the year 2038. A follower of the Eisenwolf of 2038.


ELIZABETH JACKSON

The person in charge of the alms houses where Avenger lived.


CAPTAIN JAMESTOWN

The pilot of the space shuttle Explorer, a Hispanic woman who appears to be in her forties.


DIANE JAMISSON

Cousin of Chronos and mother of Naiomi. Pretty, dark haired. An accountant.


GABRIEL JAMISON

Diane's husband; Naiomi's father. Black, clever, handsome, dresses smartly. A banker in the city.


NAIOMI JAMISON

A relative of Chronos with the power to project herself and others through time itself. In 1995 she is a baby of less than a year old. Thin, average height, dark eyes, light brown skin, curly black hair.


MISS JASPERS

A SI-12 agent.


BILL JULIAN

Head of Special Effects at the BBC in Shepherds Bush.


AN UNNAMED MAD TRAMP

Who they ran into after he harangued Avenger, going on about a bomber, a cobalt blue bomber in the sky. He was handed over to STOP for care.


DR CLARENCE MCDONALD

Owner of the garden shed which was in fact John Doe.


MRS MIGGINS

The housekeeper of Professor Napoleon Barker.


CAPTAIN JOHN PETERSON

The previous owner of Dr Clarence McDonald's house, who disappeared in 1947.


DR JOSEPH NO

A colleague of Noesis, a medical doctor specialising in virology to whom Noesis gave details of the Omega-2 virus, and whom has collaborated with STOP on the problem.


RAINBOW ARCHER

A super-villainess who worked with Viper for a while. She convinced Blitz to let her go after she was captured, and now owes him a large favour.


JOHN RAYNER

A journalist with 'The Times'.


CAPTAIN SMITHWICK

The co-pilot of the space shuttle Explorer. A blonde woman in her thirties.


WILLIAM SMYTHE

Chief Engineer of the Thames Barrier.


MR STANNARD

A SI-12 agent.


'SVEN'

The human body cloned from Truth, Servo, Blitz and Chronos by the alien Caretaker AI known as Rainbow Dancer, and now inhabited by it.


CAPTAIN TYLER

A member of STOP.


DIEGO VELASQUEZ

An Argentinean diplomat with whom Noesis and Professor Barker played golf at one point.
