Servo, Chronos and Blitz return to Harrods to give statements to STOP. Truth gives a statement the next day. Avenger creeps off.
During the debrief by Captain Tyler (of STOP) the villains are identified as being members of the Deathstroke supervillain team, which consists of:
We also decide to talk to an UFO Investigation Society at some point after noticing some UFOs flitting about over London.
Some time later, Mr Heatherington (of Harrods) calls, via STOP, requesting a meeting with Blitz, Truth, Servo and Chronos immediately. We do this thing, and rendezvous at Harrods.
Mr Heatherington says he suspects Deathstroke were after something in one of Harrod's safety deposit boxes. However, it is a little known fact that they are not actually in the Harrods store, but in a secret facility elsewhere. Hr Heatherington wants us to help protect it from the villains. We agree to do this, and Mr Heatherington gives us the location of the place. It is located on Hopton Street, on the South Bank, near Blackfriars railway bridge.
In order to have the entire group for this mission, Truth tracks Avenger by scent to the Docklands area. He is staking out a local newsagents - a new gang of hoods is in town and he thinks this shop is next on their 'protection' list. For some reason which is not entirely explained, he believes these people to be linked to Deathstroke.
Truth changes to her civilian identity and goes to chat with some 'friends' at a nearby pub. From this she confirms the existence of the 'new hoodlums' and expands on what Avenger knows.
A little later two characters, oozing essence of dodginess, approach the newsagents. They enter, but are followed in by two kids. Servo goes round the back of the shop. Truth sneaks into the shop in mist form. Chronos, Avenger and Blitz lurk in the street.
When the two kids emerge again Avenger enters the shop. The dodgy characters buy a single packet of polos, pay one pound and get a wad of cash as change! Avenger demands that they stop and put up their hands. They don't, so he shoots one in the leg to persuade them to comply. Unfortunately for the hoodlum this blows his left leg 'clean orf'! Chronos enters at speed and stops the second thug from pulling his gun. Truth lets Servo in the back door, and he starts to heal the first thugs wounds with his healing box.
Avenger questions the second thug, doesn't get any answers from him and so blows the other leg off his crippled colleague! Blitz (who is still outside) calls the police. Servo refuses to heal the now screaming thug until Avenger stop blasting his limbs off. Avenger gives up and leaves with the rest of us, apart from Blitz who stays to explain it to the police.
When the police arrive, Blitz tells them 'Avenger Dun It' and they quite understand.
Truth sniffs the trail of the two thugs and traces it to a warehouse (of The Universal Import/Export Company) a few stops down the Docklands Light Railway from where we met up with Avenger. She slips through the wall and identifies lots of people, a portacabin, several offices, and two vans - but no Deathstroke members.
At this point all of our STOP pagers go off, calling us back to the Harrods Safety Deposit Box Centre (oops, weren't we supposed to be protecting that!). Truth, Avenger, Servo and Blitz all immediately leave for the Centre. Chronos stays behind and attempts to take on the warehouse single handed.
Several minutes later, Chronos comes round to find himself on the top of Tower Bridge with no idea how he got there. For once he will be the last on the scene!
The other four of us fly in over the river towards the Harrods safety deposit box centre (Servo is carrying Truth, Blitz, less fortunate, has Avenger). There is a Large Gaping Hole (LGH) in the side of the building, a small launch at the dockside and some commotion on the road by the building. The four land on the road, taking some gunfire from the boat as they fly in. Truth, Avenger and Servo enter the building. Blitz takes to the sky and starts blasting the boat; after a few good hits it starts to sink.
Inside, Truth, Avenger and Servo come across Shockwave and Death Commando. It seems they are searching for box 647E. Truth goes off to find it in advance of them while Avenger and Servo hold up the bad guys. Avenger goes for Death Commando but Shockwave stops this by hitting him very hard indeed.
Truth is soon overtaken by Death Commando who, with his jet pack flies faster than she runs, even if she can ignore the walls.
Avenger shoots at Shockwave and follows Truth. Servo stays to battle Shockwave. By the time Truth and Avenger get to the area where box 647E is, Death Commando has covered his tracks by dropping a smoke grenade. They wait for him to come out of the smoke. Instead, there is a large explosion, so they go into the smoke instead.
At this point Chronos arrives (finally) and enters the building. He quickly comes across Shockwave battling Servo and, the two of the working together, they knock him out.
Outside, Blitz is blasted by a shot from behind. He looks around but fails to see the sniper. However, he does see Stinger clinging to the wall by the hole Death Commando has just made, so he shoots at him instead, but misses. He watches as Stinger grabs Death Commando out of the hole and they fly off. However, Avenger is hanging on to Death Commandos foot, shooting at him as they fly. Blitz gives them a warning about the sniper and goes of to track him down. He gets shot out of the air for his trouble and falls into the Thames. Avenger eventually gets shot off of Death Commando and he too falls, though in his case to the ground with a sickening splat. Death Commando and Stinger fly off with whatever was in box 647E. Damn.
Avenger picks himself up, and Blitz is fished out of the river by Truth before he drowns. What now?
