AMBER : YOUNGER AMBERITES

Son of Caine, something of a jack-of-all-trades. Born in 75 PPF, he swore loyalty to King Random shortly after his 18th birthday. He looks like a younger, gold-blonde-haired, blue-eyed version of Caine. Although nominally part of the Navy, commanding a flotilla, he seems not to be too bothered about his duties but instead does the minimum necessary to keep those above him satisfied.

When in Amber, Caleb has a large suite of rooms fairly near the keep, which look out onto a square court taken up entirely by an ornamental pond. They include a patio which abuts out into the pond.

The great-grandaughter of Benedict. Not really an Amberite, by upbring or inclination, but mentioned here for want of anywhere better. She is dead, killed by Benedict while leading the second Chaos uprising in 41 PPF.

She parted poorly with Corwin after the battle at the Abyss, and seemed to go over wholly to Chaos. When in battle she adopted the same style of armour as her old tutor, Borel - coppery plate with greenish tracings.

According to Dara herself, her grandmother was also named Dara, though whether this was on her Amberite side or not is open to debate:

"'Dara,' she replied. 'My name is Dara, after my grandmother.'"

When she first meets Corwin, Dara claims that her Amber-blooded mother and grandmother are both dead. However, no evidence either for or against this is presented anywhere, so who knows? Separately to this, would either of them have had any chance to walk a Pattern? The fact that Dara needed to trick her way into Amber to do so implies probably not, but who can say for sure? Separately to this, what of Dara's non-Amber parent and grandparents? Nothing about their origin, identities or current status is mentioned anywhere so, again, who can say?

Note that Dara looks like the picture here, rather than the Trump of her shown in the ADRP rulebook, because I like this version of her better.

Younger daughter of Julian, born in 60 PPF, who does not get on with him at all. Unlike her duty-driven sister Margot, she is something of protege of Flora, and spends her time as a dilettante traveller in the Golden Circle and beyond. However, like her sister she has sworn loyalty to King Random. She has expressed her loathing for life in the countryside and avoids her father wherever possible. She seems to have something of a problem with authority and the like. Of average height, slim and beautiful, Esmée is always dressed in the height of fashion. Her hair is always stylishly arranged and is strawberry blonde in colour (not the hair colour she was born with). Her eyes are violet. She loves to shop in Amber, and has a somewhat valley-girl-like attitude.

She has a suite of rooms in the castle which are quite close to Gerards and which look out over the same garden court as his.

It has always been known that Esmée is a Sorceress. It is now also known that Esmée is a Shapeshifter. Her war form is that of a golden plate-armoured cat-humanoid (it looks like it is wearing this plate armour, but it is in fact part of it) with large claws on its fingers and toes, a long razor-whip tail and large metal wings with razor-edges golden metal feathers.

Older daughter of Julian, born in 20 PPF, who very much follows in his footsteps. Like him she is cold and abrupt with long black hair, bright blue eyes, pale skin and a muscular build. She has plate armour in a dappled black-on-grey camouflage pattern, is usually accompanied by a crow, and has a horse not altogether unlike Morgenstern. She is usually found in Arden, where she is one of Julian's seconds-in-command of the Rangers. Something of an outdoorswoman, and known to be a formidable fighter. She swore loyalty to King Random on her 18th Birthday.

When in Amber Margot uses a suite of rooms with a balcony which looks down over the main castle courtyard.

It is known that Margot has been trained in Empowerment magics.
