The world in 1905 is quite different to that in 1994. The Chilean Empire has not yet expanded to its full size by taking over Ecuador. The other nations of South America have not yet merged into the South American Union for self-defence against Chile.
After the First World War, Russia and China have been broken up between the various empires involved, leaving only the five Russian states of Ural, Siberskaya, Tyumenskaya, Zayarsk and Kotuy as independent nations.
