Military Vehicles of the USA

Military vehicles are generally run from on-board cold fusion generators (current technology can just get them small enough) which power all on board-systems. This gives them extremely long duration and range. All military grav vehicles are also fully sealed and space-capable; this also allows them to operate underwater, generally to depths dependant on how heavily armoured the vehicle is.

Very few modern combat vehicles have windows. Instead, multiple sensor systems and computers provide an integrated picture of the vehicles surrounds to the operator.

Lockheed AF 204 Gyrfalcon Fighter/Attack Aircraft

Lockheed AF 204 Gyrfalcon Fighter/Attack Aircraft

Designed to carry a crew of two (pilot and weapons operator) at speeds of up to mach 8.35 with world-wide range. It has sufficient thrust to reach orbit under its own power.

M-462 Grav Main Battle Tank

M-462 Grav MBT

Designed to carry a crew of three (driver, commander and gunner) at speeds of up to 540 kph. It has more lift capacity than that required to lift its own weight, allowing it to (with the aid of its manipulator arms) act as a bulldozer, a cargo lifter and a battlefield recovery vehicle. It cannot reach orbit under its own power, but experiments have been carried out with booster packs to allow it to do so.

A heavy ground attack variant of this vehicle, the M-463, also exists. This is created by inverting the hull around the crew compartment and drives, so that the main weapons systems point downwards rather than upwards.

M-451 'Turtle' Grav Armoured Personnel Carrier

M-451 Grav APC

Designed to carry a crew of two (driver and commander/gunner) and up to ten fully equipped troops at speeds of up to 540 kph. Designed to complement to M-462.

C-188 Transport Aircraft

C-188 Transport Aircraft

The Overman worlds equivalent of the C-131 Hercules. An old but very hardy and reliable design, originating from the late 1940's still in use in many places around the world. Very many variants for all kinds of uses (including some armed military versions). It has VTOL and amphibious capability giving it the capability to land on any appropriately sized area of land or water. It has many low ground pressure retractable wheels in the wing-tip floats and along the sides of the fuselage, and doors at the front rear and sides.
