SKYRIE VOLUTIUN DOMINUS

His Empowered Items

Note that all of Skyrie's items are Empowered to be cross-shadow stable, giving Empowerment times of 100 minutes per point of Quality and 600 minutes per point of Power.

ARMOUR OF THE CRIMSON INQUISITOR

This deep red chain mail armour provides superb protection. Skyrie made two suits of it. The second suit (the one he habitually wears) is Trump-powered.

TOTAL:

THE CLOAK OF THE DIVINE SHADOW

Designed for stealth and nothing else. The cloak's powers are activated by putting it on and sealing the clasp.

TOTAL:

THE DESPICABLE CASTLE

When marching huge conquering armies about the place, having a fortress you can take with you is immensely useful. The Despicable castle was conquered by Skyrie several years ago, and proved particularly difficult to take. He decided he liked it so much, he'd take it with him on future conquests. Having enhanced it to be more resistant to attacks from siege engines and magic, Skyrie gave it an alternative form as a belt he wears - when commanded to do so, the castle springs up around him (how bad this is for others in the immediate vicinity is up to you - it's not meant to be a weapon, though...). The Despicable Castle is fully stocked with weapons and provisions, and has many war machines mounted on its walls. As an afterthought, Skyrie enchanted these so they were self-reloading, and also added a Device which turns corpses into zombies under his command.

TOTAL:

THE POKEMON

Skyrie has three of these creatures - hideous ravaging undead monstrosities, made up of parts from all sorts of creatures, some human, some animal, some... unrecognisable. Being undead with powers of regeneration, they're almost impossible to destroy outright, needing to be entirely hacked into many, many pieces (disabling them by hacking them into fewer pieces is easier, of course). They have a couple of dozen 'weapon appendages' each; their combat stats are meant to reflect the difficulty in actually destroying them, and the sheer number of attacks they launch. Their alternate forms are small black stones. They can't actually speak, but they can understand orders and have some intelligence. They also have a sonar sense - the only sound they make is a strange, continual chittering.

After making three, Skyrie got bored and moved on to something else.

TOTAL:

SKYDOOM

The forerunner of the Despicable Castle, SkyDoom is a much smaller fortification, but much more versatile in that it can fly. Again, the fortress is well stocked, and the weapons on the walls reload themselves.

TOTAL:

TERMINUS EST

Terminus Est is a sword with an unusually long and hollow hilt. The blade behaves partially as a liquid, flowing back into the hilt when the sword is not in use, yet sharper than any steel when the sword is drawn. The exact form of the blade can be varied, up to about 5 feet in length, with curves and waves possible. Control of the blade shape is achieved through the grip on the hilt, and slight wrist motions - these motions also form a natural part of general swordplay, so the blade will tend to fluctuate and change shape during a fight. This can be disconcerting, but a true swordsman will quickly see that the blade changes to his advantages (for example, the motion of a lunge will cause the blade to lengthen).

TOTAL:

THE UNPLEASANT BOUNCING HAND-GRENADE OF UNCERTAIN DEATH.

This wasn't as successful as originally anticipated - too little effect in a mass combat, too unpredictable in a skirmish. The Bouncing Hand-grenade is given simple instructions, and then thrown at the enemy. Upon landing on any hard surface, it immediately attacks the nearest thing that conforms to what it's been told with an AcidFire blast, bounces high in the air in a random direction (it will cover about fifty feet across the ground, but bounce three times that height), and when it lands, it does it again. It won't stop until the conditions it was told at the start are met (i.e. all creatures dead or not moving, or a specified time period). Unfortunately, the Bouncing Hand-Grenade was known to have some difficulty in telling friend from foe, so only one was built. Still, Skyrie has a certain fondness for its chaotic nature...

TOTAL:

The above come to a total of more than one thousand hours of item manufacture time, excluding the Trump-powered armour! Given that Skyrie has had a lot longer to think of useful stuff than Steve, he has reserved the option to have a couple more items ready-made that he hadn't thought of at this point. However, these will get left in the Fourteen Empires (somehow) when Skyrie left with the party, so he'd have to go back and get them if he wanted to use them.
