Servo was ill yesterday - with something he picked up in the sewers - but has recovered now. Cronos finally relents and allows everyone to have access to the bank account with the gambling winnings.
The cover company called "Wilberforce Throckmorton Device Limited" has been set up by Servo, using the personnel and resources of Colmar Technologies. It purchases a brand new, ocean going boat (which costs roughly £300000), to be called the "Wilberforce Throckmorton Device The Second" (or WTD II?). (That will teach Tony to leave the players alone while he removes his contacts! Sam).

NEWS :
SI-12 still haven't contacted us; Cronos goes to work at the Jewellers. Noesis goes off to play golf. Servo goes to the bank to get his £1000 stake back. Blitz stays at home to read his Valentine cards - he can't tell if any are from Rainbow Archer, so he goes out to buy a computer so that he can contact the E-Mail address she gave him. Avenger goes shopping near Canary Wharf - he wanders around in disguise - a fairly shabby old suit. John Doe is watching Canary Wharf while making Valentines Cards out of his own skin. Truth serves breakfast at the hostel.
John Doe sees Avenger enter the Canary Wharf Tower lobby. Avenger looks at the listing on the wall and sees that the top floors are not there. He is approached by a security guard and asks about the Novatec company (one that was not on the list). He also inquires about the missing floors. The guard is as useful as a not very useful thing.
Noesis has a good day at the golf course - he plays against Dr Barker and Diego Velasquez (an Argentinean Diplomat) - who looks at Noesis a little uneasily but otherwise lives up to his job title.
There is still no news from SI-12 by lunch time so John Doe phones STOP to find out why. He is put through to Dickinson who says that he will chase SI-12 - he also clarifies that SI-12 are just inquiring to find out if the "rocket" is government property - NOT to give us permission to attack it. John Does perfect memory recalls that the enquiry was "Is the rocket inside Canary Wharf government Property or can we attack it" and he intends to interpret the answer accordingly.
John Doe sees Avenger come out of Canary Wharf in his Suit. He transforms into an attractive blond and approaches. SHe delivers the card She made and turns away. Avenger takes the card and opens it - it says simply "Avenger" - He runs after Hir and asks who SHe is. SHe reaches behind hir back, pulls out a fedora and puts it on - "does that help?" Avenger goes to hit hir but SHe ducks back and turns to run. Avenger gets a glancing blow in before SHe leaves him behind. A police officer, attracted by passers by, approaches Avenger about the assault. Avenger explains that he was having a "disagreement" with his "bird" who was "acting up" - "that's OK isn't it?". The constable takes down his name and address (false ones!) and gives him a warning. Avenger skulks off.
At 1:00 PM Servo finally gets the call from Dickinson at STOP - the answer is Yes but there is still some dispute about what the question was. (Aside: STOP have now got tired of the telegram jokes "Hello STOP etc". They now answer "Hello Special Tactical Operations Personnel").
Everyone assembles at the Docklands Light Railway. John Doe gives out the rest of his Valentine cards - they are received more warmly than his first. John Doe then spots a faint glint of something from the top of the tower. He and Blitz fly up to investigate, they find nothing but spot a pillar of smoke rising from the north. servo phones STOP who tell us that there are reports from Brimsdown recycling plant about a fire. The plant also handles toxic waste, is next to a reservoir, and a party of school children is on a school trip there at present. We are asked to assist, everyone goes to the plant except Truth who remains to watch the tower.
At the plant a number of buildings are ablaze. The emergency services are grateful for any help. Mr White the manager of the plant tells them the layout of each building, he denies the fire is his fault, they were following all the safety procedures (Noesis reads his surface thoughts and he is basically telling the truth).
Cronos, Blitz, Servo, Noesis and Avenger dive into the building thought to contain the children. John Doe goes to the nearby reservoir, collects a lot of water and is asked to damp down the paper warehouse next door, to prevent it catching alight. He initially turns into a dragon with a pipe through from its tail. John Doe soon decides to make the job more interesting and transforms into a naked 30 foot Cronos, using his penis as a hose with a scrolling Nike banner (much to the delight of the press who had got bored of photographing burning buildings).
Inside the building the children are soon located, everyone is taking damage from the burning chemicals and suffering. Noesis grabs the children (he tries to grab Avenger also but Avenger breaks from the grasp) and makes for the roof. Blitz manages to knock back a wave of flames but also ruptures a nearby pipe spraying himself with burning chemicals. Servo blasts his way out of the roof making an escape route for Noesis. John Doe sees Servo blast from the roof, followed by Noesis and the children followed by Blitz. Blitz heads for the reservoir to wash off the chemicals. Cronos makes an exit and suddenly the building explodes. Avenger is blown out of the warehouse and lands as a charred corpse in front of the waiting crowds of press, staff, passers by etc. He gets up rather unsteadily.
Unfortunately Noesis is also caught by the blast and six of the children are dropped. John Doe catches four with extending tentacles, Cronos one and Servo goes for the last one. As he shields the child with his body, Servo's backpack is sprayed with toxic gunk and fails. He saves the day by using his grappling hook so swing to safety. Servo manages to get lots of good press out of the situation by carrying the child to the nearby ambulance (and limping), healing him and posing for photos. Noesis also heads for he reservoir to cool off.
Everyone now heads for the remaining buildings. Servo, Avenger and John Doe save a further three people. John Doe starts to boil and bubble. Noesis recovers two bodies from another warehouse (the one burning most intensely). Lastly John Doe damps down other buildings and everyone gives statements to the press (except Avenger who is still rather charred) John Doe is asked about the 30 foot Cronos.
The group head back to Canary Wharf.
Meanwhile Truth has had a search of the tower. She has found many more of the strange non human scents, mostly around the lift shafts. While examining the shaft she finds the outline of several doors. Truth continues looking for a control panel for the door, when suddenly another panel over the door opens and a weapon fires on her. Some sort of energy web catches her (even though she is desolid) and squeezes her until she passes out. Her last memory is of the door opening and being pulled in...
The group are now approaching the tower when Blitz and Servo see a window at the top of the tower open and a body is thrown from it. The body is recognised as Truth, Noesis misses her and she is caught in the nick of time by Servo, he scrapes the pavement, it was that close. Servo heals Truth, she eventually comes round but feels ill (strange as she is immune to all disease, toxins etc and doesn't breathe). Her costume is cut on the arm and across the abdomen. Servo examines Truth but can find nothing on the skin, Truth can smell fresh blood and some form of antiseptic. Servo arranges for Truth to be scanned at his company base. Blitz flys her there. The others remain to go and find the door. Truth and Blitz arrive at Colmar Tech and Truth has a MRI scan. Unfortunately the chemical make up of her body is so strange, and she seems to have extra organs (and the normal ones are peculiar), so that it's impossible to find if anything has been added. No inorganic objects are found, though. The scan details are kept by Colmar and a copy given to Truth. She and Blitz return to the others.
The group have a brief discussion with the security guard who phones the police. Followed by an abortive trip to the basement - Cronos is very confused, before going to the lift shaft. Servo uses a plasma torch to cut the small hatch open and disables the gun then starts to open the door. Truth and Blitz arrive to watch as the way through the door opens up...

Pictures of Servo, John Doe and Avenger are the most prominent. Also smaller pictures of the others including Truth, even though she wasn't there (well, she is so photogenic).
