Session 2.10 Index Session 2.12
It is now 10 pm and everyone is tired. Avenger does his disappearing act after STOP say they should arrest him. We arrange to meet at Canary Wharf the next morning. Truth, Blitz and Cronos go home. Servo and John Doe stay behind to give press statements. Servo tells them the bare facts about what happened, but refuses to comment about his love life or about Colmar Tech's financial problems. Servo leaves. John Doe continues answering any questions asked, he asks John Rayner, a Times reporter, to give him the name of movie contacts so he can go into special effects. The reporter gives John Doe his card. A woman journalist, Tanya Claybourne, asks him about The Arachnid (a London super hero who has not been seen recently), John Doe says he has never heard of him as he was a garden shed for the past 50 years, at 25 Laurel Road, Teddington. After John Doe gets bored he flies off and spends the night at Canary Wharf, hanging under the Docklands Light Railway.
It is a clear sunny, unseasonably warm day.

Cronos (as Bernie) goes to the bookmakers and discovers that the accumulator bet has paid off. He collects the winnings from the accumulator in the form of a bankers draft. He opens a bank account in the name of the London Knights and deposits the six bankers drafts he collects. He also gets a phone call from Brian Cooper (his agent) saying that Nike want Cronos for a photo shoot at midday at the old Greenwich power station.
Truth spends her morning doing good works, she is quizzed by her colleagues about what happened to her the previous day, she mumbles about a crisis and refuses to say more.
Noesis spends the morning telling Professor Barker everything. Barker is astounded, particularly about being eaten by the ants, they discuss finding baby Naomi and looking after her!!!!
Servo spends the entire day at Colmar Technology, they are in trouble financially and publicity-wise. He phones to say he cannot come out to play with the rest of us today. An American toy company (ToyCo Limited) were going to produce an action figure doll of him as part of their "Worldwide Heros" range, but they have cancelled the offer after seeing the video on TV this morning. "He is not the kind of role model they want to encourage."
John Doe spends the morning scouting out Canary Wharf (getting in via the air conditioning), he finds that there are large sections of the basement sealed off, before he is found by security and hastily exits the building via the air conditioning.
At 10 am Cronos, Blitz, Noesis, Truth and Avenger arrive at Canary Wharf. Cronos reveals that we have won the accumulator and this is followed by lots of discussion about what to do with it. John Doe and Truth are not interested and go to investigate Canary Wharf. In the basement Truth finds that she cannot pass through the sealed of part of the building, she can also smell something strange possibly living, it makes the hairs on the back of her hand stand up. After a couple of hours they determine that the impenetrable area is spaceship shaped and makes up the central core of the tower for most of its height, expanding to the whole width for the whole 10% or so. "Fins" at the corners join whatever fits the pits at the corners to the central core. John Doe chips away the plaster to reveal the surface, it is shiny blue/black metal-like material which John Doe manages to scratch with a lot of very unsubtle effort.
At midday Cronos goes to his photo shoot for "Running Shoes Fit For Heros", he gets a new outfit from Nike (better made and in a trendier cut than his own), with their emblem prominently displayed and some top of the range training shoes. He makes some suggestions about changes to the costume he'd like. The photo shoot goes ahead without any problems. The Nike man in charge of the shoot is named George Bell.
Soon after he returns to the rest of the party, Truth and John Doe return as well and tell of their findings. The discussions about what to spend the money on have achieved nothing, Truth suggests giving it to the poor. Noesis says that Truth should not be given access to the money as she would give to away - it should be used for better more deserving purposes. It is decided to go to STOP before storming the tower in case it's the governments. Avenger takes his leave. Truth says she must go to work, on returning to the Salvation Army she is again quizzed about the previous day. She gets very upset by their questions and they leave her alone, she and others go out selling the War Cry for the rest of the day.
Noesis, Blitz, Cronos and John Doe go to STOP HQ. They are interviewed by D.I. Dickinson together with two people from SI-12. The SI-12 agents introduce themselves as Mr Stannard and Miss Jaspers. They are wearing wraparound mirror shades and black suits with white shirts. Noesis discovers that their minds are shielded from him, they refuse to say why and say it is classified. Cronos and Noesis give a brief rundown about what happened. They are asked about why we were found unconscious, about the glimpse of the future and about Naomi. Cronos reveals that Naomi is a relative of his and so has time related powers, hers allowing her to move through time. Noesis tells them about the only survivors being Avenger and his National Front colleagues and Eisenwolf and the Nazis. They also mention the crater being Blitz blowing up and about Canary Wharf being a space ship. They ask whether it belongs to the government or can we attack it. The agents say that they will contact us by Tuesday about Canary Wharf. Noesis also asks Dickinson about a suitable base for us and he suggests the old bunker previously used by the Knights of Pendragon. John Doe tries harassing the agents and ties their shoelaces together. Stannard asks for more details about Naomi, Cronos and Noesis tell them that is pointless as that Naomi no longer exists, Cronos tries explaining about time travel, time lines and paradoxes. He confuses everyone, including himself.
Eventually the SI-12 agents leave, their shoelaces are now undone, John Doe is very disturbed that they managed this without using their hands (clever party trick, that one). Dickinson says he will get details about the old base and will let us view it. Dickinson also says that they have had a report of an intruder fitting Naomi's description at the home of Diane Jamisson (Cronos's cousin).
Truth contacts Servo and tells him about the possible spaceship and about not being able to pass through the material. She gives him as much detail as possible and he says he will look in to it. Servo sounds ill over the phone.
Noesis phones Truth and tells her what happened at STOP. The group decide to meet up for dinner at 7 pm at The Ivy restaurant (Avenger and Servo are not invited - much to the relief of the manager of the restaurant). Truth makes her apologies to the War Cry sellers and leaves for the restaurant.
NEWS:
We all meet for dinner, it is decided that we should visit Cronos's cousin as baby Naomi may be in danger of being kidnapped. In the course of the discussions it comes out that Truth is homeless and lives in a Salvation Army hostel. Cronos pays for the meal and we leave. Cronos as Bernie goes to their apartment and reveals he is Cronos Master of Time, Diane and her husband Gabriel have several large whiskies. Cronos then introduces the rest of the group as John Doe - a 12000 year old shape shifter from another planet (allegedly), Blitz - the human nuclear time bomb (a description which Blitz is extremely offended by), Noesis - the floating metal ball and Truth.
Over several more whiskies Diane tells us about the intruder and how she vanished (when two of them appeared, the second one in a bottle-green military-type uniform, definitely not a Viper one, and a bit taller and less thin) they are told about the intruder being Naomi from the future coming back to say goodbye to her self. John Doe is eventually allowed to touch the baby and determines that she is Naomi - she has the same DNA as he found in the other Naomi. The family are convinced to leave their home and Bernie drives them to the George Hotel. John Doe stays at their apartment in the form of Diane and baby Naomi.
Blitz stays at Canary Wharf, on top of the tower. He has bad nightmares and wakes up feeling tired and achy.
For most of the group the day passes uneventfully. John Doe at the apartment (still disguised as Diane and baby Naomi) receives a visit from the two SI-12 agents, they show him some Home Office passes, they ask about the visit by Naomi then ask to see the room where it happened, then they leave. Cronos follows them after they leave the building and they go to a building in Whitehall.
NEWS:
The group buy a boat on the Thames. The Jamisson's want to return to their apartment. They do after we have panic buttons and the like installed so they can contact us in an emergency.
The rest of the day passes uneventfully...
